For Organisations

Understanding people at work

Organisations are made up of people.

How we communicate, relate, lead and respond to uncertainty influences both wellbeing and the way organisations function.

I work with leaders, teams and organisations on the human and psychological aspects of working life.

Drawing on my background in organisational psychology and practical experience in People & Culture and organisational consulting, I combine psychological understanding with an understanding of what everyday organisational life actually looks like.

The collaboration is always shaped around the organisation, its people and the context it operates within.

FAQ

Psychotherapy is a space where we can explore what is happening in your life and within you with curiosity and without judgement. In my approach, thoughts, emotions, bodily reactions and behaviour are closely connected. Together, we can become curious about the patterns you have developed, what they may have helped you with in the past, and whether they are still serving you today. The aim is greater awareness and understanding — because awareness creates the possibility of choice.

What is psychotherapy?

1

It can help you understand yourself and your reactions on a deeper level. You may begin to recognise patterns that previously felt automatic, become more aware of your emotions and needs, and develop new ways of responding to yourself, your relationships and difficult situations. You do not need to be in crisis for this work to be meaningful.

What can I gain from psychological support?

2

My approach is curious, relational and experiential. Rather than only talking about what is happening, I may also invite you to notice what happens in the moment — in your thoughts, emotions and body. I don't see my role as giving you all the answers. We explore together what is happening, why certain patterns may have developed and what might help you move forward.

How do you work?

What can I come to you with?

4

You don't need a diagnosis or a clearly defined problem. You may be experiencing stress, self-doubt, difficult emotions, relationship challenges, life transitions, performance pressure or patterns that keep repeating themselves. You may also simply have a sense that something isn't quite right. We can start there.

What happens during a session?

5

A session usually begins with what feels relevant to you that day. Sometimes we will talk about a specific situation or challenge. Other times we may explore a recurring pattern, an emotion or something that emerges during the conversation itself. There is no fixed agenda you need to follow.

How many sessions will I need?

6

There is no one answer. Some people come with a specific issue and find that a few sessions are enough. Others want to work more deeply with recurring patterns and choose a longer process. We will regularly check in on whether the process feels meaningful.

What if I don't know what to talk about?

7

That's completely okay. You don't need to prepare or arrive with something insightful to say. Sometimes “I don't know where to start” is a very good place to start.

There is no such thing as being good at this work. You don't have to say the right things, understand yourself perfectly or be comfortable talking about emotions. Your job isn't to perform. You can simply show up as you are.

Can I be a 'good' client?
